| newcomer Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am new to this site but not to scrollsawing. I have been a sawer for five years or more. I use a variable speed Delta with a foot control. I have a workshop at my home that I have taken away from my husband. It was originally to be his shop for his farming repairs and car repairs. I slowly kept wanting tools for Christmas and have now claimed the shop! No overtaking was plotted, it just happened that way! The more things I make, the more tools required. I do scrolling, games and have built myself a pantry cabinet! The shop is like my sanctuary. My place for relaxation and to get away from it all! So, this is all for now. Thanks and good day! | Welcome Jeanette M........you've come to a very informative, fun place. Hope you come by often, and don't be shy.......we would love to see some pictures of your work.
Gives food for thought, and I'm sure you could help some of us with your knowledge. More tool definitely need more space.....nothing like having a shop.

| I am not real "tech-friendly" with the computer, but if you give me some guidance as to how to send pictures on this site, I would be glad to send my latest project.
Thanks. Jeanette M. |

| Ciao....the Cordelia Kid here (Cordelia, California, that is)....and welcome aboard. I'm a new guy on the block too, and so far am really getting into this information sharing...a first time for everything I suppose. Unfortunately, I"m not a "electric sawer", but just chugging along with a hand-held saw...and been doing that for a whole bunch of years. Getting pretty darn good at it too, tackling JZ's advanced patterns and all. Of note, I do own a Craftsman scroll saw...bought it a couple (three or four) years ago. Tried to cut a small project....and ended up tossing the wood away. Too slow....with the blade switching and all. I still have the saw, but use it as a "coffee stand". One of these days I'm going to have to watch someone use an electric scroll...I envy you all with those "dust blowers"....
ciao for now..... |

| Hello Folks,
Jeanette M. here. Thanks for all the help in getting me the info on downloading pictures to this site and for all the shout outs I got to welcome me to the site. I hope I got it this time, if not---- we WILL KEEP TRYING!!
Looks liked it worked. Hoooray for the Hoosier Girl!!!! This is my most recent project. It was a bit challenging because the face is not attatched to the rest of the work. You have to place it on the board free-handed and place it in the right angle the face is placed. Jeanette M. 100_0778.jpg
