| re-introduce Just a quick line to re-introduce myself. I bought a scroll saw in April of 07 and started trying to cut patterns. I basically learned to scrollsaw by reading this site. In those days I didn't know much about computers so I regestered using my real name. Since then I have went through alot of changes, one being my computer completely crashed. So after getting it fixed, I re-regestered as Merlin7. Merlin because that was one of my many nicknames I got called when I was a kid and 7 cause it's one better than six.
Then in March 08 I was given 3-4 months to live. As you can imagine, my onterest in scrollsawing and most everything else went down hill. About June I was getting better and as of yesterday, while not cured, my chances of beating this thing has geatly improved and I have been monitoring this site again and more important, scrolling again. I really enjoy scrolling and and want to learn how to run a lathe also. Now I have a question. Where can I find a pattern for that thing tha stands for medicine or doctors. It sounds like cadoucous or something. I'd also like something that symbolizes nursing. I'd like to make something for the two most important people in my life right now after my wife and that's my doctor and nurse who have helped me through this thing by being friends as well as the normal doctor stuff. |
