| GEE in the living room. My wife ask me why I didn't build my shop underground, so she didn't have to see it.

| G'day Gina,
Welcome to the mob.
Some days, when it's stinking hot in summer I'd like my saw in the house and some days in winter when it's bloody cold, but most days I'm glad it's in the shed. I can get away down there and just make mess. |

| Hi Gina, welcome to the group.
I also have my saw in the house, in my kitchen sunroom.
Since I'm usually the one to clean the room, I get to make as much mess as I want. Hehehe.
Welcome again!

| For me, the house we have now is great. The biggest draw for me is my shop in the back yard. If I start bringing tools into the house, all I would here is " well now you don't need your shop!" I needed an engine hoist to get Bandasuarus (18" bandsaw)out of my truck. getting it into the dinning room might be a bit much. lol.

| Welcome Gina! I am also from the great state of Montana, up in the Kalispell area. I haven't been on the saws in a little while between work and moving but hope to fire up the 'twins' soon! Still adjusting to a smaller shop. I might have to try the living room idea for this winter though.

| From a new member to a newer member....welcome aboard.. Whatcha got for patterns? I am very interested in exchanging patterns...no cash please...just that I have been scrolling (by hand-held saw, mind you) for quite a few years now and have collected "a lot...and I mean a lot" of patterns. I have a few of JZ's stuff (Glade Creek Mill, Cozy Cub, Vigilant Cheetahs, Passionate Parrots, Turkey's in the Brush, Engine 86 and Old & New..just to name a few.
Since my hand-held saw doesn't have a dust blower attachment....the old garage is my saw dust haven...or...heaven, depending on one's point of view.

| Hi Gina, Welcome to the forum. I cant believe you have your saw in the living room.I have to hike out to the Garage/Shop to use mine. If I had it in the house the only time I would leave it is to go to the potty. LOL. Enjoy! and send us a picture.
Hank
