I just wont to welcome you to the forum, WD filled you in pretty good on how to get around hear. you can ask quistions, or give replys hear on wood working if you like. if you would like to click on message Board on the left side of you on your screen, you will se a seliction of topics. to chose from, and click on any of the topic threads that are there, and read or relpy to them. there is scroller Galleries also. you can go look at the albums there of are works. you will get lost in there for there is lots of beautifull projects that folks hear have done. there is patterns and other great sites also. just jump around and click on this and that. or just like Wd said. go up to the New Posts in the blue ribbon, and it will bring you to the newest post since your last visit. so you don't have to read, and reread the old ones. hope this helps . your new friend Evie

Hi LincolnPenny:

{With tongue well placed in cheek}

From my way of looking at things it like this:
At work you use a computer to MAKE money.

Here, as a hobbyist, you learn what to SPEND money on.
Therefore, hide your credit cards.

There are always someone talking about wood ($$), finishing ($), patterns (little $) and once in a while someone will give links to tool store where you can burn up an entire credit card.

But do get one or two books from Fox Chapel, not a lot of $$, and they are good intro books into the hobby.

By the Way, Did I Mention the cost of the Scroll Saw itself??

Hang on to your credit card!!!!
