| Hey Everyone! I joined today. I am older but am looking for a new adventure. It is my time to play. I have been scrolling some for several years now. I have the Dremmel 18". I am a bit nervous of making mistakes. Or OOPS.
Guess I have some real critics...... |

| Welcome to the group Carola, don't worry about making mistakes, we have all made our share of firewood, in fact I made some just last week! Find some simple patterns and go for it! I would also recommend you buy a book to get started - I have 'The New Scroll Saw Handbook by Patrick Spielman' and it was a great help to me when I got started. Good luck to you now go make some saw dust! |

Welcome to the group! As far as mistakes are concerned, you are the only one who knows for sure that a mistake was made. Learn from the mistakes, don't be afraid to try doing things differently from the "norm", have fun and post some pictures. |

| Hey Carola,
as far as mistakes go, I dont think youll find anyone here that can say they never make them. Often times a mistake is not as bad as it may appear. you can often adjust your pattern, or just let it be as is, and if you dont tell anyone, no one will no a mistake was made. I am pretty new to this too, but have learned alot from the folks here. They have alot of very talented people here, that are always willing to answer questions, and give advice. so enjoy yourself, and lets see some of your work. we all love pictures |
