Default Hi Folks

I got introduced to Intarsia about 6 years ago by a neighbour when we were snowbirding in Florida.. I was very impressed with how the blends of wood, etc made such rich looking pictures and I wanted to try it. I mean, how hard could it be to follow a line.
Now, 6 years later, I'm still frustrated by the gaps I leave between the pieces and the spots I miss when doing the finish sanding.
That 75 year old neighbour made it look a lot easier than I'm finding it.. However, I am getting there, I actually made a piece that my wife hung on the wall this Christmas.
Now I'm going to read everything I can find on this site that might help and ask questions about any help I need but can't find. Hope you don't mind

Hi Buddy, welcome to the family. You have come to the right place to get answers to your questions. There are several accomplished intarsia artists here. I am not one of them. Again welcome, Steve
