I just joined this website and am looking forward to the experience. I am new at scrollsawing and probably will ask some dumb questions. Please be patient and maybe we will all learn a little something of value. I have had one low end scroll saw that I had to clamp to a work bench to use it vibrated so bad. I have recently purchased a DeWalt 788 and am very pleased so far. I plan on spending quite a few hours learning some of the techniques of scrolling. Hello to all.

Default Welcome

Welcome to the Site and to the addiction! The only dumb question is one you don't ask. I have been scrolling for a few years now and still ask questions and still learn things. This is a great site with some great folks on it. Enjoy!

Welcome newscroller,
There is loads of information here, I just joined recently too though I have been scrolling for a little over a year. There are no dumb questions here, we all learned by asking questions and experimenting. There is no need for anyone to suffer through the same experimenting if we can answer questions for you. Ask away!

Welcome aboard,
You'll find some very knowledgeable people here who are very willing to share their vast experience. I've been a member several months now and I seldom ever log on and not learn something new.
Have fun,
Ralph

Yup, welcome Hank. Read a while here, then go make some sawdust! Practice is what will make you a pro, this family is here to ease the learning curves involved, and to let you know... any trouble that you come across, chances are somebody on here has run into it as well (although we will never admit to it!!!) Hey Hank,

Welcome to the site, there are DUMB questions, and if you ask one we will all make fun of it....................... just kiddin'.You have a great saw there in the Dewalt, it's used by many on this site.
Feel free to ask whatever you want, I'm sure you will find the answer here. This is a great group of part time scrollers as well as BIG time scrollers, the common thread is that we all love what we are doing. Take a look through the galleries and you will see that the talent here is endless.
Make some dust, take a pic of it, and post it here, we all love pics.
And have fun.

Tom
