Unhappy Looking for yoke for my saw

Hi,
Just started scrolling with a used saw Delta 40-601. Was very much enjoying the intarsia project, until The arm got broken trying to remove the blade. I am looking for a used one at a reasonable price as the saw is old, but functional otherwise. I've read that the motor tends to go on this particular saw, so I hate to invest a fortune on the arm, but I like the machine and would really like to find a replacement part under $100.00. So far no luck, any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Yes, no luck there. I found one at another site for 190.00 plus shipping. I think for that price I might as well invest in a new saw. I'm watching ebay, but so far nothing. Thanks-

Would an arm from a 40-530 work? I've got one of those set aside for parts

No, it's an 18" C arm, that's made out of cast iron. But Thank's so much for the offer!

Isn't a yoke what goes around a team of oxens neck when pulling a plow ?

Don't mine me . Just feeling a little giddy today. Guess my wheaties from breakfast this morning have not worn off yet.

I have an old Delta 40-540 out in the garage that just needs a rubber grommet in the upper blade holder assembly. The table has some surface rust but other than that it's still a good saw. If someone wants it you can have it for free....just come and get it!!!
