Default Greeting From the Tarheel State!

Hey everybody!

It's time to get serious about this scrolling thing so I'm following the advice from Robert (Sawduster) and Cathy (Cskipper) to join in.
I'm a weekend hobby woodworker, tool and wood collector who just "collected" a Hawk 26". I also have an antique Star treadle SS in my museum. My previous experience with a SS was with a Mattel Powershop as a kid and I think I used the same blade for the whole time I had that thing .
I have a lot of learning to do! Looking forward to doing some wooden geared clocks and starting to learn about SS portraits.

Hi Mark,
We prefer that people post the images to our site, or imbed them in the post in a way that they are not a live link...It's just out of concern for our members, some of whom are minors. We had a case in the past where someone posted a photo similar to the way you did, and in a differnt part of their personal gallery, there were some nudes...which made a lot of members uncomfortable.

Thanks for understanding.
Best regards,
Bob Duncan
