Default I guess I should post here

I've posted a few times, but I thought I would introduce myself here. I had signed up a couple of years ago, but must have lost track of the site. Anyway, here I am.

I got into scrollsawing about two years ago (I suppose the same time that I signed up here). It's a lot of fun, I just wish that I had more time to do it.

I do mostly fretwork (nothing too intricate) and the occasional inlay. Haven't attempted any intarsia yet. I'm partial to cross patterns and snatch up just about any pattern that I think I can make work. Wine caddies are also a specialty of mine (below are two of my patterns (helped along by Verna, who is also a member of this forum) the cross with the ring and the trio of celtic crosses are also my own designs). I'm still developing my skills, so all the patterns are pretty simple, but I'll get to the next level eventually.

Here's a sample of my stuff (with my own designs):

Here's a few more of my items - since I was limited to 4 pictures in the previous post. I hope that you aren't bored with my projects - just had a lot of posting to do to catch up for the time I've been missing.

Very nice work. The designs on the wine caddies match them perfectly - simple, elegant and very well cut. The other projects are really nice too. Keep them coming.

Fine work. Go ahead and keep posting the pictures. It is great to see what other people are doing. As for posting in this section... Well, I didn't start a thread about me in this section. Ever, as I recall.

WOW very nice work indeed, say is the gray cross, corigon. sorry can't spell. or did you paint it that way. very nice. I don't think you will have any problems cutting more intracut fretwork at all. your work is great. Evie

Thanks for all the comments.

The grey cross is Dupont Corian. It's great to work with - no finish to add, just sand out and wash off. I haven't used it in a while, need to work some more with it. I've got several pieces taking up room in my garage.

I've been away from scrolling the past couple months - and now I'm being encouraged to get back into it. Thanks!
