New Scroller - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board

Hi,

Thought I would pop in and introduce myself since I've been lurking for a few days.

I inherited an old Reliant 16" scroll saw from my Dad when he upgraded.
Used it a couple of times and was instantly hooked on scrolling...must run in the blood.

Anyway, it only takes pinned blades so for Christmas I asked for and received an 18" Craftsman. Used it a couple of times and sent it back to the store.

Now I'm back to using the Reliant while I save up for a better saw.

Well, like I said, I've been lurking and picking up what tips I can from you all, hope you don't mind.

Welcome Gaia, you picked the right forum to join as there are many scrollers with years of experience they are willing to share for the asking.....MIKE
