Smile Kind of new to scrolling

Hello I just got a new Dremel 18' scroll saw for Christmas and am really anxious to get started scrolling...I previously had a scroll saw some years ago and made some crafty things on it but it has been awhile since I used one so we will see lol...I am really new to all the types of scroll work out there so I am excited about this site maybe I will learn some of the lingo so it will be easier to get the gist of things so to speak....I look forward to chatting with all the people on this forum and getting to know this new saw of mine inside and out....Glad this site was available....

Welcome Rhonda!

Have you broken that Dremel in yet? It's been a couple hours since your post afterall! LOL.

Hope you find a load of inspiration, and make some good friends here. Any questions you have, feel free to ask. Any tips you can contribute (yes even newbies can come up with some we haven't heard before), definately tell us.

Make sure to take photos of your scrolled projects and post them in the gallery for us to admire.

Again, welcome.
Toni

Welcome Rhonda,
Your first tip, Sign and date your first project (don't give it away)and compare it to your work a year from now.
