Not that I'm aware of Gary. I have not seen pin end spirals . With a little practice you can cut just about everything using a flat blade.The exception being a huge project that you cant turn around on the saw table, and sometimes just careful hole drilling and cutting certain areas and removing and reinstalling the blade after repositioning the wood that too can be overcome. How Dee from Dallas. Welcome to the Message Board. You will get a lot of good advice from here. As far as spiral blades go. They leave a bad taste in my mouth, sorry just don't like them and they don't like me.

Sorry but they never made spiral blades with pins. It just could not be done I was told.
There are now some new spirals on the market, which are much easier to control.

Pajaro;
I can certainly go along with that but I still use them occasionally when the piece is to big to spin on my saw with flat blades

Here is some interesting information that will take the mystery out of the use of spirals for some scrollers.

http://bensscrollsaw.com/mystery.html

It is great information and some will always like spirals over flat blades while others will prefer to use mostly flat blades. Depends what works best for you and what you are most comfortable with.
