| Welcome Red Beard. I have a brother that lives in Mustang OK. Wow what a great idea from RBI to accomidate weelchairs. Wish the RBI was not so much $$$$$. Quality comes at a price.

I can certainly sympathise with you and relate to all the problems you had with your type 1 DeWalt . As you have mentioned in other messages here you got three years out of your DeWalt. That was all mine was good for as well. Various makes of saws will last in proportionate to how many hours they have on them and how much stack sawing was done on them and what type of woods. .
You are obviously one of the scrollers that does a LOT of scrolling like I have done and needed a saw that would handle it. Glad you found a saw that is better to your liking. Hope you get many years of enjoyable use from it.
Do you have a website to show the volume of cutting you have been doing to be wearing out saws ? ?
Mine is in the link below and I have cut out hundreds of clocks and some of the large ones were multiples of over a dozen even though only one of each is shown . Some of the smaller ones were sawn out in batches of 25 at a time.
Would be nice to see your website and the amount of sawing you have done.
