Hello everyone,

My wife is getting me a scrollsaw for Christmas so I can cut out frames and shadows for the wooden model RC sailboats I am building. I have joined to see what other projects that I might try.

Welcome! I hope you enjoy your visits.

Aside: What is RC Sailboats?? Is that a designation of the scale of the Model?

Welcome. I got into scrolling the same way. Here in New Jersey winters aren't made for motorcycles. So when the harley went to hibernate, I got alittle bored and depressed. So one year my wife got a Craftsman scrollsaw for me for Christmas. I was immediately hooked on scrolling. The saw only used pin end blades which limited fret work greatly. It also vibrated very badly. So within a year I bought my DeWalt 788. I still have that Craftsman saw. I'm going to let my grandson use it just to see if he would like to scroll. This is a great group, full of knowledge. Again, welcome aboard!
