Default New Member from Fayetteville NC

Hello everyone, My Name is Terrence Rielly (Terry) and I live in Fayetteville, NC. I have been in the Fire Service for 37 years and am in the finishing process from Retiring from the Fort Bragg Fire Department. I also spent 33 years with the Westarea Fire Department of which I served as Fire Chief for 13 years and I stepped down in 2003 due to a stroke and heart attack.
I am also a member of the NC Woodworker (www.NC woodworker.net).
I just finished working on a new 20'x20' shop which I call my retirement home. I made it just like my living room in my house. Sheetrock Walls, Stimpled Ceiling, Chestnut Parque Flooring.
I love to make clocks and mantel clocks and Fire Department plaques. I have a copright on the figures that I designed It is called INSPIRATION which a Former Firefighter from Tampa Fire Department. His name is Peter Friedling and his Daughter has a web site called www.peterfriedlingoriginals.com.
I have not been able to get into my shop since 7/19/07 due to a knee replacement that went astray. This was job related and caused me to retire as I will never be able to perform that job again. But anyway, I am alway glad to be with other woodworkers and hope I can learn alot more on the scrollsaw. I have done alot but I am always open to learn more.
Terry

Welcome Terry. I live up the road from you in Cary, NC. I also am a member of the NCWW. I use the same handle on both boards as do Sawduster and Cskipper who you will see on-line here. The folks here are as great as the ones on NCWW You will love them. We need to get together sometime.

Welcome Terry. As has already been said, this is a wonderful group of people, who love helping more people to learn and enjoy the craft (or art; as you may have read, there are discussions going on right now about that subject).
