Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your visits.

Been using the same saw all these years? Started on one saw and moved up to another?

Are you into clocks? Fretwork? sun-catchers? toys?

Glad to have you.

Phil

Im still using the same saw my dad gave me, its a sears craftsmen contractor seris 20 in, not the best saw for fretwork, would like to get a better saw but cant afford right now. I would love to do clocks but not set up for it. Right now im trying to learn compound sawing, one day i'll get it.

Welcome. There a lot of ways to get money for a new saw, including (perhaps the best) selling some of your work. Often takes a few shows to learn what goes and how, but they can be profitable. If you ever get to that point there are many on the forum who have experience there. Most important, have fun, now among friends.

Welcome to our group Stinkfoott. Glad you found our group after scrolling for so long. Please be sure to show us some of your work from time to time.

Your "thank God for scrollsaws", is a sentiment that will be echoed by many of us here.

Take care
Toni
