| Been scrolling for a while Hey there everyone,
Just finished making a project. I gave the project to my boss and everyone wants one. now I am making about 5 more. Never realized that my work would be worth so much to other people. I guess this is a good thing. I really enjoy watching peoples faces when I show them what I made. not real sure what to charge but I guess any thing is good because I use it to buy more wood and blades. I have a tendency of babbling so please be understaning with me.
Thanks
Mimi |

| Mimi, babble away! Tell us what you made! How much you charge is always a tough thing to know, but as long as it made someone happy, and you didnt go into the poor house, its all worth it! welcome aboard. Dale |

| Welcome. I also enjoy seeing the faces of friends/relitives when giving a completed project. To me that is worth more than $$.
Happy Scrolling.

| hello fellow babbler,
I haven't had a chance to scroll anything yet, BUT last year I chip carved a cross and Christmas ornaments, and taught myself tatting and made some bookmarks and ornaments. My mother in law has the Chip Carved ornaments adorning her walls and lampshades all year long!!! I am excited to make things for my home though, there are so many beautiful things to make. (I really want to make the clock in the last issue of Scroll Saw!!!!). Normally when I'm feeling "crafty" I always think of gifts for everyone else. In fact I don't have ANYTHING that I ever made, except the practice pieces!!! Its nice to see the peoples faces when they look at me and say "YOU made that?" (my husband carves decoys so they all assume he's the only one who likes to work with wood!). I think though that when I get scrolling things I really like, I will first make myself one, then the rest of the family!!!!! (selfish?). I'd like to make some nice things also for my kids' hope chests too.
Babbling away again,
