| Newbie (Axminster AWFS18) Hi everyone this is my first post, i have just bought myself an Axminster AWFS18 scroll saw it seems a great machine but the instruction book has been writen in pigeon English has anyone any information on this ,do you think its a good piece of kit (or bad ) its got some holes on the machine that the instruction book does not mention. This maybe just an English model. Thanks everyone for reading this its a great website. Kev |

| 'Tis a Hegner 2VS clone and although I don't own one, I've heard good things about it. I'm sure an owner will be along shortly to confirm your good fortune. They might even suggest you have a look at the Hegner UK website because some of their gadgets will enhance your scrolling experience for a little further outlay.

| The Axminster AWFS18 (on the left) is proving to be quite popular on this side of the Pond.
It's like a Hegner (I've seen the exploded parts diagram  ) but only half the price of a Hegner. I understand Hegner had copyrighted their design but the copyright has now expired and Axminster is taking advantage. As a result, a number of Hegner accessories will fit the AWFS18 although I'm not too clued up about this because I don't actually own an AWFS18. I'm sure someone who is able to be a bit more specific will be along soon.
