Default Still practicing, still learning

Just want to share the practice pieces from last week. Each new thing I do I am learning a little. This was my 5th week. Hope to graduate to some good wood soon. We are leaving for vacation so I will probably have to start all over again. Steve

You have done a wonderful job there bud. You won't need to start again, it's like riding a bike.

Nice looking pieces there again, Steve. What kind of wood is that horseshoe cut from? I recognise the Whitetail designs pattern and I've cut a couple of them - for someone only scrolling for 5 weeks you've done great there - there are some fiddly cuts around the mane especially ..

Steve, these are wonderful pieces. You should be very proud. We all are learning everytime we walk into the shop. That is what keeps us going. BTW unless I am all wet, and I might be, most of these pieces appear to be cut out of regular builders plywood. Great idea and great job of finishing. Enjoy your vacation.

Hi Steve, you have certainly done some excellent work here especially at only five weeks. Great work. Steve

Thanks everyone, and yes Scott, you are absolutely right. that is shop grade 3/8ths plywood. It is a little hard on blades but is is cheap for practice work.
Thanks again to all for the encouragement. Steve
