Default Taking time to say thanks

Hi everyone,

Just a short note to say that I will be taking it easy for a couple of weeks, I go in next week for Cataract Surgery on my right eye, I have been busy sawing name, toys and other item for the Grandchildren, I started to see double and the doctor said I had a cataract and it needed to come out. so wish me luck.

This is the time to say thanks for all the help that this newbe got with question on scroll sawing, I learn how to keep the blades in my machine, cut plastic and even received sample of blades that have been the best ones I have found so far. Again thanks for all the help and information, will be getting back to sawing soon I hope.
I AM HOOKED

Hope the cataract surgery goes well for you , John - can't see any reason why not. My partner's dad just had it done and it's been a great sucess and a huge improvement for him - he didn't know how little he could see before ..lol

Best of luck, hopefully the recovery time will be short and you can get back to sawing.

Thumbs up

Good luck with the surgery John, but you do realise you wont have any excuse for straying off the lines now.

John, I hope your surgery is as successful as mine is. You will not believe how well you can see afterwards, for me it was amazing. Please follow your doctor's instructions after the surgery and DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT go back into the shop too quickly, if you get sawdust in that eye, you will regret it(damhik).
Good Luck, and hurry back
