Default Pictures from the Mid-Hudson Woodworkers Show

Hi everyone,

I am going to attempt to post some pictures my wife Ann Marie, took at the Mid-Hudson Woodworkers show on Saturday, in West Hurley, NY. We had a great time at the event and met a bunch of real nice people...a special thanks to JackM for spending so much of your time with me and explaining the workings of the club, by the way, I ended up joining and I'm looking forward to my first meeting. I actually got up the nerve to display 3 of my pieces at this show, it was the first time I ever showed any of my work in a vevue like this and I was nervous as a June bride. Everyone was very nice and I received some nice comments from people.

The first picture is from my display, Train, Tile clock & Bank Truck. Thanks for looking.

BE WELL.

Good for you. You should not be hesitant in the future of sharing your work. Nicely done all of it.

Hi Rick: We certainly enjoyed this show also. They had a terrific attendance all day which was great since so many of the shows have had a drop in attendance. You are correct in stating they are a great bunch of folks. This was the first time we had met them and they certainly know how to make you feel welcome. Was really nice to see JackM again. I think you will enjoy the meetings with this group. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful projects and did not realize those were yours. Very nice work. On the way home, my wife commented that she really liked the toys...Which ones, I asked...the truck and especially the train, she said. I heard a lot of nice comments about your work also.

I noticed you did the birdcages. I cut some but am having a hard time with the wire and swing. What is your secret? My wire looks "sloppy" as it gets out of shape very easily. I am using the 20 gauge like they suggested. Your work is very nice. I would be proud to show it if I were you.

Betty,

Thank you for the compliments. I would like to answer your question on the bird cages, but I didn't cut them... That was a display by someone else who is a club member. I hadn't even noticed the cages until they were pointed out to me and unfortunatly I don't know where the pattern was obtained.

BE WELL.
