Default Richland Center

I got an email notification from Dirk Boelman yesterday,,,there will be no scroll saw show in Richland Center Wi. in 2013. I reposted the email below.

Dear Friends,

For the past several months we have been trying to make a decision regarding the Trade Show. After much deliberation, we have decided that we are NOT going to hold the show this year!

We need to take some time to re-think, and re-group, and see if we can do some things differently than we have been doing in the past. Sometimes change can be very, very good!

The show was great last year, thanks to all of you who helped and supported it, but it was a pretty heavy burden for us, both financially and in the amount of time we spent working on it all year long!

This has been a hard decision, and I know a lot of folks will be disappointed. But, this is how we have to handle it this year. We do not wish to cancel the show permanently, nor are we willing to give up the reins at this time.

Hopefully you will understand that in these difficult economic times, we have to make some hard decisions about how we move forward. We are optimistic that the time we will have available to us (that we don't spend working on the show this year) can be spent designing, drawing and making new projects!

And, ultimately, a year off, will hopefully help us create a better show in August of 2014!

(Your thoughts, ideas and suggestions are always welcomed and appreciated)!

Please pass this information on to others who may be interested in hearing this news!

Thank you,

Dirk Boelman/The Art Factory
