Well, tomorrow is the big day. Just finished setting up for the big show this weekend. Starts tomorrow and runs thru Sunday. Glass Guild, Bead show, meatal arts, hand weavers and the Woodworkers. There is also a big pottery show as well. If anyone lives in there area, I'd love to see you! It's at the Portland Convention Center downtown.

Here are some pics from the show - both my booth and a few others.

Thanks for the pictures. I hope you had a good day for sales.
Since this was the first time for this show did it have a lot of traffic?

I've been doing this show for several years. First year the guilds were all together in one room. In the past everyone had their own separate little rooms. Sales were down considerably from previous years althought I had a call yesterday from someone who was there and wanted to buy the heron and the wood duck so that's another good chunk of change in my pocket - which makes it worthwhile. It was strange because previous years I've always sold several higher end pieces. This show nothing over $200 until the call. We plan to combine shows again for next year - BIG room all the guilds together. The Northwest Fine Woodworkers is dissolving and I had to join the Guild of Oregon Woodworkers who will be in charge of the wood part of the show.
