Default hi from Saratoga Springs

Here in Saratoga in my hotel enjoying a nice coffee. Met Sheila Landry and TheFramer. Sadly nobody else from the board bumped into me. Got to make a pen on a nice Jet lathe. Even hubby made a pen and is very proud of it.
Lots of beautiful things.
And, yes I know NPNH....I took lots of them and will try and post some later from here. At latest you will get pictures tomorrow when I get home.
Diane

Hi Diane,

Actually you met me, The Framer, not the farmer. I was turning the pen when we met, I should have introduced myself better than I did. It was very nice to meet you and then bump into you again when we were both buying some wood. I was very happy to have been able to go to Saratoga.

I had my name tag on and only met one of our forum members whose name and picture I did not get. I went to the early morning session with Sheila I probably should have gone to the afternoon session. Sorry I missed you guys.
Yes it was a great show the talent presented at this show was (as usual) amazing.
The turners in particular. The scrollers have also stepped it up a notch from years past.
There were some very nice intarsia pieces and a fret work clock where corian was used on the entry steps, very interesting.
I will send some pictures later

Sadly not all of us were able to coordinate meeting. Next time we will organize better. I was at Sheila's first talk and had my nametag on. Robert had his on also. We went back on Sunday and had a blast.
Rick, sorry for calling you a farmer LOL. It was wonderful meeting you.
I have pictures up on Facebook but must reduce them to put them up here. I have not had time yet. It's been a long and hectic but very wonderful weekend.

Diane,
I was also at the first talk? I did not see you. I was debating getting up and asking if there were any forum members in the room, I now regret not doing that. I did have my big nametag on and Jerry took our picture. Thanks Jerry!
If we ever have this opportunity again we definitely need to have a plan so that we can all meet.!

Hi Diane,

No problem, FARMER is one of the nicer things I have been called.

It was real nice to meet you. I hope you enjoyed turning your pen, and I'm sure it came out perfect.

I tried to put some pictures out here, but I may as well have tried my hand at surgery. I am nominating myself for president of THE I HATE COMPUTERS CLUB OF AMERICA.
