Default MN Craft show event 8/29

Car show/craft show trade event. Over 500 cars on display last year and over 120 crafters. My wife and I have three tables worth of craft items we have made over the course of six months. Here is the link http://thesummerspectacular.com/

If anybody from MN is planning on attending, send me an e-mail and I will send you via e-mail $2 off discount coupons. Admin is $5. They also contributed over $6000 to local charities.

Dag nab it Iceman, I'm headed in the other direction or I would return the favor of your visit to St. Cloud last spring.

Must be heading 'Nort'? I've gone to the car show the past 5 years, really never paid much attention to the craft show side of it. Did a craft show this spring, visited you guys in St Cloud, MN and decided to try one more time. We have a boatload of stuff for sale, ALL HANDMADE.

I thought about bringing my scrollsaw to the show like you did, but space limitations prohibited that.

Thanks for a response to my post, keeping it out there.

Good luck with your show Fred. It's a wee-bit out of the way for me, but I know there's a few folks on here from your neck of the woods.

Just returned home from the 'Summer Spectacular' craft show. Sales were not good but the experience was. Talked to other crafters, got some hints. suggestions, etc. Talked to the public that bought our products, prices were inline with other vendors.

Jewelry, handmade and resold is HUGE! Lot's of competition there.

Steady traffic most of the day ( we are also competing with the MN State Fair). 99% of people who entered our booth were female. This is a loaded question...no smart *** responses. What would a guy buy at a craft show?

We can't sell guns. Can't sell fishing licenses. Can't sell bullets.

What would a GUY buy at a craft show???

Thanks in advance!

Glad you had a positive experience!!

I've had guys buy fretwork of what they catch and shoot. Also puzzles are big, especially those of things, you guessed it, they catch and shoot. Cars, old ones, and tractors are relatively popular too.
