If I remember correctly, Rolf is a member of that club. Is he going to be your guru for the scroll saw?

He will grant anyone a five minute audience once every other week, but you have to genuflect on your right knee when you speak to him. Other then that he is approachable.

Joe,

I PM'd Rolf regarding my doing a demo at the show and haven't heard back from him. Any suggestions? Is there anyone else I should contact? Thanks.

Carole,
I will contact the person running our seminars and give him your info. Could you send me your email address?

Carole will be doing 3 seminars and I will do a couple on basic inlay work.
Long Island Woodworkers Club
This will be the first time we are doing the show at this location.
We are all a bit anxious about setting up in a new environment.
The scrollers are only a part of what our club members do. The breadth of talent in our club is amazing and this is, how we call it, our prom. The general club and the SIG members get to show off their work (artistry). There will be scrolling, turning, hand cut dove tail etc. etc demos all day long (both days)
We also have our annual planing contest to see who can shave the thinest complete shaving. So bring your best plane if you are so inclined.

Joe if you have anything to add to this step right in.

Hopefully I can make it on the 15th. I have a show on the 14th but it's just a 1 day event so I have that day open (so far). It would be neat getting to meet a few of you folks.

C'mon Kevin. If we get enough of us from the forum there, it'll be like a party!
