Glad you'll be there, Betty. Should be a lot of fun. I met Kevin today at the Apple Festival in CT, and it's really cool meeting people you've only known online.

I need to Clarify that the admission to our show is free but there is a fee to get into Old Bethpage Restoration Village. That is where our event will be.

Do you know what the fee is? I may go down there for one of your show days since I think it's a little less than a two hour drive.

Are Carole's workshops, or whatever they are, free or do you have to preregister? I can only make it on Sunday, so I want to be sure I get in!! I am itching to get my hands on your book Carole! Can't you hurry up the release BobD?

I just checked the Old Bethpage Village website, and it appears that admission is $10, $7 for seniors. I've never been to the restoration, but it looks like something worthwhile to visit in addition to the woodworking show. I've offered to do 2 demos on Saturday and one on Sunday, and have asked for a table so I can have a place to talk to people between demos. I'm also planning on bringing books, since I'm sure they will be available by then.

I'm assuming that the demos do not require any preregistration (Rolf or somebody correct me if I'm wrong), and I'll be around to answer any questions that don't get covered during the demos.

That is a good question Carol I will ask at our meeting tonight. I have never gone to a presentation at one of our shows, so I am not sure how it works. I have always been too busy. I have only been a member of the club for about 5 years so alot of this stuff is new to me too.

Rofl,

I am looking forward to this event and was wondering if you guys could use any help in setting up everything? I might be able to volunteer my time. I can pretty much help with anything but teaching(LOL).

Just a thought.
