Hi guys, I am still new to this, my question is this. Anyone know where the Phoenix AZ scrollers are? I have looked and looked. you would think with 365 days of sun there would be something. I guess I could start my own scrollers- R -Us place. I would glady join you if I can find you.

I'm from the Seattle area. I like groups to share my hobbies with, too. But I couldn't find scroll saw artists anywhere around here. So I've finally joined two just plain wood worker groups. Both of the a bit of a drive for me but I like them. In one I'm the only intarsia artist so I'm the resident expert. (smile) In the other, there are people who do intarsia but I haven't met them yet.

Hey, Phoenix & Seattle, you must remember, we are an elite group of Artists. People don't do things like we do any more. They have to have it done for them & by machine. Like the computerized carver from Sears. I don't think we have the high numbers of membership groups in the country. But, we do some fine work. I am in the same boat that you folks are. I'm in the Yuma, Az. area & we don't even have wood available for our works. Good Luck with your search. Perk

Hey, I know there are a few of us around. The Arizona Association of Fine Woodworkers has some good scrollers in it, but if you want to do something that is for straight scrolling, there is nothing going on. The guy who ran the phoenix scrollers died suddenly a few years back, so nobody picked it back up. If you want to start something.... I'm up for helpin'
