Default May 17/michigan

Our local IAP <penturning> group of michigan..we are holding our meeting at my house. Anyone in the area is welcome to come. We will be showing off our pens, having some snacks, meeting each other, some for the first time. We'll be doing a little bit of pen scrolling how too, and we will be doing some resin casting. Even if you are not into pens, resing casting and scrolling are a great match and something you might very well be interested in seeing in person. It is very likely that we will have a representitive of Alumilite on hand as well. Alumilite is a urethane resin made right here in michigan. It is an incredible product, and it can be scrolled. It only takes an hour or less to run a batch from mix to solid in a pot and I have two pots. I am in Eaton Rapids..it's between lansing and Jackson. I will be able to announce the time of the event with in the next week or so. It is a Sunday. For my address, PM me.

Sounds like fun! But I have a family get together that day so I won't be able to get down.

Jeff,
Thanks for the invite but it's bit to far for a day trip for me. I would like to hear more about the resin casting though.
