| Well back from the Expo and lots of pictures are now posted on my web page. Take a look, I think over 150 pictures are there, and there is a slide show on the page that will take in more pictures than shown on the page. |

The turnout was lower than expected, but those who made it had a good time. In all I felt that it was a great show considering the economy right now and high gas prices. |

| Im back too.Actually Ive been back a few days, but lots of last minute things to do before the county fair here. Like Rick mentioned, turnout was lower than usual, both vendors, and attendees, but it was a great time. Sorry I never met you Tammy. The best part of the shows is meeting others, and I really enjoyed visiting with some of the many friends I've made throughout the years both from online message boards, and from just attending the shows.Combine the reunion talking with old friends, the great seminars (and yes, even BobD did a great seminar), and looking at the scroller galleries and contest entries, I didnt even have enough time to really look over the huge selection of stuff that National Artcraft had there for sale (I am still wanting a slow speed motor for one of Rick H's spinners patterns).I finally bought a big sanding mop, as well as a small one, which saved me from wasting a nice figured maple bowl I had hanging in the lathe chuck with a bad gouge in it (long story there).I did win a couple raffle prizes (Even won a 1 year subscription to sswc!!!) Soon my subscription will be paid up until I think 2013 sometime now!I didnt win one of the two scrollsaws that were raffled (one a Excalibur EX-21, one a Dewalt 788 )and didnt win the Sand Flee either, but I guess I cant win em all.Seminars I attended...Daina T's compound cutting, BobD's getting published, D Adlers marquetry, and C.Dows woodburning. All were great! The worst part of the trip besides the gas pumps would have to be the temperature. The place where the event was held has air conditioning that made me wish I was wearing long underware!!!! Now...in a couple weeks... Richland Center, hopefully a few of you can make it.
Once I get a chance to resize some photos, I will post some.
