I wish there was I live in Southwest Iowa, We don't even have a scrollsaw club anywhere close. A couple of times have thought of starting one but not quite sure of how to do it.

Come on over to Wisconsin!!! I doubt you could twist Mike M's arm enough to get him to put together a scrollsaw picnic, but stranger things have happened! Dale

Kevin, I would be willing to help you get a club started in your area. I can give you all kinds of advice on how to do it. Let me know if you are interested. Toby Tyler

Southwest Iowa isn't that far from the midwest show in Richland Center Wisconsin. Lots of people from Iowa attend that show.

Toby,

I would be very interested in any information that you could give me on getting a club started.

Jeff,
I don't know where Richland Center or should I say how far it is from Shambaugh but I know were Abbottsford is . I took us almost 10 hours drive time. I had to go there for work. I don't want to make that drive anytime soon.

Takes me quite some time from here in Michigan to get to Richland Center, but since I drive for a living, it's a walk in the park. Richland center is an hour west of Madison. It's worth the drive. At least from Iowa you don't have to go through Chicago! Last year I was in this one spot in Chicago that took 2 hrs to go 5 miles. Seems like orange barrel season gets longer and longer every year. Used to be that you couldn't have construction after November first, but now there's some projects here all year round. Good thing I have sattelite radio.
