Gosh, I wish I was abile to join in lots of compatesions. and If I won , more than one prize that would be great. I don't think I would be taking anything from anyone. take a horse race. if my horse was realy fast, and intered him or her in a differant race. and he won. I would not feel bad at all to take the prize. that horse would have been so well trained, and worked hard to get that way. the breading and training would all be in there to win. I think the same goes with any sport, or craft. if someone works hard to make a project, and makes it the best they could , with lots of exsperiance, and work, making the whole thing as beautifull and well done as posabale. why not win. every where. the travale time, the work involved, the effort to make it the best. why not win, all the ribbons, and money , wouldn't that make the pattern, and wood, and other things involed, sellabale. take the Dome Clock, so many folks do it, in so many ways. so let the best scroller win. gives me insperation to win also. Why make it to only win once. don't we all wont all the money all the attiotion, and all the cootoes. Ya baby. I do. just my openion. your friend Evie Its called Have fun, But kick butt

Default where you g oing

Evie, a person after my own heart. you said it better than I did. When I coached fastpitch my team had a saying....Rip Their Lips Off.... this meant we were going to hit the ball so hard the other team would duck. Did not always work, but the attitude was there. lol, toby

Default PA Show

USMC 1126. Hello King: If you are going to be passing through northeastern PA on your way to the PA Show, I invite you to stop in Pocono Pines and see an Exhibition of my scroll work which opened yesterday. (Check out "Wildlife Interpretations in Wood" in this Upcoming Events category). You could come to PA on I-84. From here, take the Pa Turnpike to Allentown, then 222 to Lancaster. I know you will enjoy the PA show. For the first time in four years, I won't be able to attend due to prior commitments. Regards, Dick

Kevin . Isn't there usually an award for a peoples choice ? Having said that . The last one Scoll Saw Work Shop ran showed exactly as you pointed out , it is an individuals preference that determines winners . Enough same thinkers and Bob's your uncle .

Tammy, aren't you in Calif. I would love to fly out to Ohio with a scrollling friend. would you be interested. your friend Evie

Ok edit. sorry Tammy, I thought you was Calif. now I see you are ohio. bummer, that would have been fun. your friend Evie[/quote]

Evie, I would have loved to fly together with you. That would have indeed been great fun! We could have talked about the grandkids and our various hobbies, and just got to know each other better. We would have had a blast.

Maybe we will meet each other at the picnic in Ohio. I'll be watching for you. I plan to camp somewhere in the area as I have about a three hour drive to get there. I can't wait.
