Default Hamilton Woodshow

Is anyone (besides me and NancyK) going to the Wood show in Hamilton, ON.

OK, I am pretty sure those of you from California and Florida will not be there, and sure, Gill, Jigsue and JohnB may give this one a pass, but thought maybe some of you in our lovely province may give it a go.

I'm going as well; at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Mount Hope....the show is supposed to be huge...I've never been. I found a list on line of the vendors - 40,000 square feet of vendors and another 40,000 of vintage warplanes on static display. I don't know what makes me more excited....getting rid of hubby as he climbs all over the displays whilst I spend our money....or spending all that money on wood, LOL.

I'll be the one there on Saturday trying to wheel and deal with Dewalt or General team so they will lower their prices for me. I was going for the 788, until I saw the Excalibur 21 will be there as well.... now how strong is my bank account...decisions, decisions.

Where in the world is Canada? The show is only 550 miles and a passport away. I guess I would need a passport to get into Canada.
Kidding!
I am jealous, Woodworking, tools and airplanes it doesn't get a lot better than that.

We don't seem to get shows like that in my neck of the woods anymore. My club puts one on every year but we have been forced to downsize because of the lack of vendors.

Alright Marsha!

If you're wearing your TC hoodie...I'll wear my TC jacket. Me, you, and a few thousand other people.

Lois, don't be telling us you'll be wearing some ARGO gear, lol.

Hey Rolf,

I know if we fly into the States we need a passport, but driving over, we only need two photo id's.
I'm not sure how it is for you guys coming into Canada. But a cheap flight from Long Island Airport to Hamilton Airport will probably run you less than $100, and there's an Airport motel conviniently located besides a Hooter's restaurant. Come on over and make a weekend of it.

No - I am neutral - not from Toronto or Hamilton - Just sitting between the two . The only football paraphernalia I would wear is for the BullDogs - my 13 year old daughter's flag football team.

Rolf,

It's this weekend; beginning today at 11 am to 5 pm, Jan 25. And then 10-5pm Sat & Sun.
Hummm....are you thinking of coming?
