Default Show Tip

HI gang,
This isn't my idea by any means but this past weekend I was at a show and ran across another scroller. He made toys, puzzles and ornaments mainly. After awhile he came over and we were talking. He said that since this lead paint thing from China started - he's been selling toys like crazy and can't keep up with the demand. People have been looking for home made toys that they can be sure do not have lead paint in them. I wanted to pass this on to others who do shows. You may have already found this yourselves but thought I'd share.

Thanks for the tip. With all the recent product recalls it is easy to see why. I don't think I can make many toys in 2 nights but I WILL keep this in mind for the future.

Just to keep this thread on topic, I moved the networking posts to a different thread.

They just did a huge recall in Australia of Chinese toys that were filled with GHB--the date rape drug. I suspect toymakers will be in even more demand this week!
