Don't know if anyone is interested or not but there is a pedal powered scrollsaw (reproduction) on ebay. Ebay number is 260058186046. Selling for $255.00 at this point. Think they normally sell for around $1200.00 new. This one needs a little work but not much. About 3 hours left. Garon |

All that money for a broken relic?! Sheesh - someone can see something in it that eludes me completely. Gill

Interesting. The current price for a new one is $1,460, and they have a kit for a build-it-yourself electric saw for $210: http://www.thetoolcompany.net Check out the hole-boring attachment for fretwork; that would surely be a nice thing to have on a DW788. Just the thing for a little cardiovascular exercise! Pete |

You can find plans for building your own foot powered scroll saw at this link. Made common items you can find or make. wood, springs, cables, and a 26" bicycle tire. http://1nailbender.tripod.com/full.htm
