Default Delta SS350 problems

i'm noticing a "clunking" sound happening more and more frequently with my
delta ss350. its 3 years old and i'm wondering if anyone else has had this
problem with them. thanks.

Take it apart before it gets worse. I took mine apart and put white lithium grease on all of the joints. The back arm is only stamped steel, no bearings. I also found that the set screw on the counter balance was loose. That is where my noise came from. The saw runs better than new now.

Mine doesn't clank so much as squeak. But only sometimes. I tried oiling it but it didn't seem to help.

I'm not sure I trust myself enough to take it apart. May take it over to the Delta folks down the street after the holidays and have them look at it. It's still under warranty, thank goodness.

what i find, if anything.

Are the blade clamps tight? I mean where the blade clamp assembly is fastened to the arm. I will look at my saw when I get home.

according to the dewalt service center, the upper and lower arms are bad. i'm not overly impressed as this saw is only a little over 3 years old.
