i got my scroll saw about 4 months ago but a couple adays ago i heard ticking noise so i took the top cover off found a screw had come loose and fell out the clamp that holds the top arm so beware

Same thing is true for all types of power tools. With the quality of ALL power tools todays, we must not be afraid to take covers off our tools once in awhile. doing so, we can check for shoddy workmanship and keep our tools running at peak efficiency.
