This is one super small drill press. the height can be adjusted, but the throw can't be more than maybe 3/4 inch. it has a foot operated switch. I bought it at a garage sale for $20. It has a 3/8 chuck and a pin installed in the chuck..perhaps to drill a super small hole. I don't really know what's the point or who made it, but it looked like a good buy.

Cute! cute! cute!! LOL Looks like it would work great for inlay, or for fretwork if you don't stack cut too high. Theresa E |

Looks a lot like a Foredom motor and speed control from what I can see. Does it look as if a flexible shaft can be attached to the top of the motor? I've never seen anything like it by Foredom but I'm betting you got a real good buy in it.

The motor is a Dayton, and perhaps you are right about the flexible shaft, because the shaft on top of the motor does spin while the chuck is spinning and depending how hard you step on the foot switch determines the speed, and it really clips along fast, but the vibration is very low.
