Well this no-be is now a new-be. I picked up a craftsman 3" scroll saw at a pawnshop for $20. I have been looking for some thin blades to cut the letters I want and am having a hard time finding them. Bear woods has the super thin Pegas .010 x .068 with pin ends. I have been reading about Mike's Flying Dutchman blades and they appear to be the best by all acounts. Only problem is all are 5" Are the Ace hardware Pegas at 5/3.99 worth buying to try. I have seen much cheaper on the Bear Woods site 72/12.99 but would like to try my hnad now and don't want to wait for shipping. Any other suggestions for places to find 3"? I have looked everywhere on the net and I have no woodworking stores in town. |

You can get 3" blades here, http://www.woodparts.ca/Assets/produ...xid=315R5II3SB and here, http://www.sloanswoodshop.com/scroll_saw_blades.htm Personally I prefer the Pegas ones over any other brand but you could order some of each and you will soon find out which ones work best for you. W.Y.
