thoughts and opinions requested huh? Ok, I suggest you kiss your wife now, before the saw arrives, as you wont have much time for her once the saw shows up. Butter her up good now, so she might throw you some food down by the saw so you dont have to get up from your projects! Enjoy the saw, your going to love it! Dale

Wow Jack, A P-20, you are going to love it according to what I have read on them. But just wait, Bill Young will surely comment on your purchase: he has one and I don't think it could be parted from his dead fingers when the time comes Never having owned one myself, I can only say that it's classified with the "good" purchases, so you definitely will not regret it. Remember to keep the first projects you do on it, and show us the results (don't be shy). Regards, Marcel

Jack, I have had my P-20 for over 2 years now and love it. I had a 20" VS Delta before and had to use a tool to change the blade and I could not top feed with it. When I purchased mine Delta was having a problem with the rod in the back of the saw that lets the upper arm raise and lower, I had to return the first one and they shipped me another which has had no problems. I believe Bill Young notified Delta of this problem and they checked all of their unsold saws and corrected the problem. I had no problem going from a VS to the 6 speed belt drive because I very seldom change the speed, it only takes a few seconds to change the belt. Have fun with your new toy. Mick.

The lack of decent air from the blower on the low speeds is the only fault I can find of the saw.
