Does anyone have any idea of the speeds of the G4? I emailed Hawk and they just gave me the same thing the manual says. From 30 to 1750. But it has marks on the speed control, like 10, 20, 30, etc, but what speeds are those. I found on the other saws they make that doesn't mean you can divide it by 10 and know the speeds that way, as it seems they give a much different speed than how that would work out. I would think a company as big as they are would have that kind of information. I have found that you find a certain speed works best for you with certain blades, on certain woods, so its nice to know. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have the G4 and never gave the actual speed a thought. I just adjust it until I am comfortable with my sawing and not buring the wood. I find that I don't change the speed very often.
