Default Modify my Delta?

I have a Delta Scroll Master and I love it, but I would really like to make the blade removal easier. As it is I need to insert a post/hex key thingamajig. Does anyone know if they have re-designed the blade holder to a hand screw clamp? Am I able to do this? It would make life so much easier is I wasn't messing with the "key" every time I needed to reposition the blade.

Yes:

If your saw is less than about 12 years old, there is an upgrade called QuickSet II. Delta part no. 40-251. Some older saws, the QuickSet II only fits the upper arm due to clearance problems under the table.

Try searching at Amazon.com under Tools and Hardware for: 'QuickSet II'

Aside: takes above average mechnical skill and knowledge to remove and install the new blade chuck. You are your own judge on this.

Keith, according to the Bill of rights I can't mention a website on this forum. PM me and I can give you a website that has many retrofits for changing the clamps on many different scrollsaws. Mick
