I got my new DeWalt the other day and I truly to love it. I practiced with it for one whole day. It cuts more agressave than my old (now back-up saw) Delta SS250. I like the top feeding and the tooless blade change. Also the tension, I think, is better. I know I can cut more accurately without the vibretion of the other saw.Somebody mentioned in a thread that you could buy a counter balnce for this saw. Something like Jim Dandy or whatever. Does anyone remember? -Bill

Yeah I know what you're talking about. I got mine from Wildwood Designs. It's labeled as the Easy Lift System in their catalog. $20.95 Don't know if it's cheaper anywhere else or not.

Bill, I recently upgraded my scroll saw and it was like moving from a biplane to a 747. The difference in smoothness and accuracy was really marked. Enjoy!! Rhys H. |
