Have any UK buyers had a customs/VAT bill when ordering FD blades? According to the HMRC site, packages under £15 are ok. I think that includes shipping. (Used to be £18 iirc.) I don't object to paying the VAT but I've had a few packages from the US that were less than £3 VAT but plus £8 admin. Ouch! Not only that, it can delay delivery a lot. I'd like to clear this up before placing an order hence the post.

I would send Mike an email or give him a call. Mike's Workshop English featuring: my life story, a cancer survivor, scrollsawing samples and tips, community service, list of favorite sites and Flying Dutchman fretsaw blades for sale.

Hi John, I've never been charged VAT to Ireland and I've had 3 or 4 packages from Mike (around the £30 mark) Maybe I've been lucky
