Christmas came early for me today. I jsut got an oscillating spindle sander. It will save me hours, have had a play already and have plenty of sanding to do!!! Hubby got a bench morticer, but the ****** put it together on the kitchen table ('cos he didn't want to heat the workshop just to do that) and now it is too heavy to lift into the shop. Hopefully his mate calls round in the morning to help him move it because it is not very decorative and as it has been so cold, here, I have been working on the kichen table and it has taken up a lot of the space. I bet his new tool makes more mess than mine, too, his usually do! Sue |

You will really love the spindle sander. You really have some weird weather going on over there. When was the last time you had snow? I lived there for three years and it only snowed when I took my TVR to the dock to ship it here,

Hi Rolf Real serious weather, everywhere in the county ... except here. Seriously, everyone we know has had snow, even people living only fivemiles away - we had a sprinkiling, so little that the grass still showed through. Our best friends, about 80 miles away were snowed in for a week, our kids on the other side of the country both had mega snow ... we were beginning to feel left out. It is bitterly cold, though! We had a little bit of snow last year, but not until February. Wotsthis global warming??? Sue |
