Default New toy

I just bought a Porter cable pin nailer PC100.
I do a lot of stack cutting and have been using carpet tacks on an anvil for the corners of my stack. I thought the pin nailer would make that fast and simple with an added benifit of not bashing my fat fingers. The pins are real fine, seem to hold well and don’t split the wood. I can now put a few in the center of the stack.
I tried this with my brad nailer, but they were a bit too beefy for my delicate ornaments.

Smallest size nail/pin is 1/2". Your stacks are higher?
congrats on the purchase by the way. LOL

VB,

OK here are your pictures, do you need my ID next to them?
For my ornaments I do a stack of 6. That ends up a little less than 1/2 inch.
Three pictures. 1. proof, 2. pin nail in the circle with the end of my old carpet tack next to it. 3. two ornament I just cut, not sanded or finished so yes they are fuzzy.
