Default Band Saw tune-up video

Just in case you would be interested, this is a video of a band saw tune up very well done in my opinion with close up shots by Craig Ruegsegger from Wood magazine.
Lots of other tips and tricks too.

WD . I watched the video and noticed I had the same band saw . I'm sure glad you posted it . I checked my saw and found it was out everywhere .

The Grizzly saw I have called for a 92 1/2 " blade . They have since conformed to industry standards and now use 93 1/2 " . I have to adjust the mechanism to accept the new blades as the old ones are not available locally .

Thanks .

Default Rikon 14"

Hi All,

I just purchased a new Rikon 14' Band Saw.
I also picked up a couple of timber wolf blades.
The unit tensioned fine with the blade it came with but I am having issues with the Timberwolf.
I read else where that timberwolf and Olson blades are somehow a minute amount out of spec. Has anyone else any experience with this.

In general the saw works fine.(with their blade). I watched a couple of demos before I bought it( an hour or more away from home). Was really impressed with the user cutting veneers with the demo saw. I tried resawing and cutting outside dimensions for intarsia pieces and really liked it.
Now if I can just figure this out!
