Unhappy Need Sanding Sleeves

Does anyone have any idea where one can purchase 1/2" x 4 1/2" sanding sleeves for a Performax Oscillating Spindle Sander. I went to Menard's (where I bought the sander) and they acted like I had grown a 3rd head for wanting such a product - which they didn't have and had never heard of. They told me that they don't carry ANY sanding sleeves. Since I am unable to buy the sleeves the sander is, virtually, worthless to me. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy anything from Menard's again!

Dan,
Just google sanding sleeves and you will find what you want. Usually a lot cheaper than at the big box stores.

If you have a Woodcraft near you they should have them. Home Depot carries them for the Ridgid but I am not sure of the diameters. Other than that use google and find them online. Good Luck

Dan, I have always had good luck and good service from Sandpaper, Abrasives, Woodworking, Metalworking, Rolls, Automotive, Waterproof, Belts, Discs, Sheets, - KLINGSPOR Abrasives, Inc.. They have anything and everything you ever wanted for sanding.

dankc908:

You might try to Google Lee Valley Tools. I know that they have sanding drums but I do not remember their sizes. Lee Valley are reliable, reasonable priced and will give you an honest reply to any question. If they do not know, they will say so.

Hope this is of help.

This one has a great assortment of them at a price thats great Ryobi Sanding Sleeve Assortment the sight doesnt give much info unfortunatly, and if needed I can go downstairs and check my box of them I bought if its a specific grit or diameter your looking for to see if that one was in the box.It is however a great deal on them, that I do know! Another place that carrys a few grits cheap is Harbor Freight Tools . Also, Micks link should yield you some as well. And.. type sanding sleeve in the search on eBay, you can get some of these sleeves for an awesome price there as well.

I have purchased from the Supergrit folks in Gettysburg, PA. Done this in person (on our way to a Pennsylvania picnic) and by mail order. They have good products and fast service.

Welcome to Supergrit.com
