Hi guys, I was messing around today, with my new, scroll saw cut, ice cycle, and was thinking I sure would like to get into those little places with my drimale bits. but sure would hate to take out to much wood. you know how they can jump on you. soooooo. I had a brain storm, why don't I use them buy hand, daaaa I just never thought of this before, nor have I seen any one else do this, maybe have, but I just never read it on the forum. we use all kinds of things to sand the inside of the frets with, and I use the diamond files all the time. and emery boards. well I try it and dang they work great. and there is so many shapes and sizes, that you can really get into those tenny tinny places. I am jazed about this find. thought I would share it. you can get these at harbor frieght for almost nothing or a swap meet. they are the 1/8th shaft I even tryed the stones. your friend Evie |

Thanks for the great tip Evie, guess I will be making a run to my Harbor Frieght Store this week. I have a few that came with my Dremel set but I never use them for wood, I guess I will from now on. Mike |

I use my dremel all the time and never once thought to use the tools by hand. What a great idea! And thanks for sharing it with us. Anne

minoeve: A great idea. Many thanks. Let me add. I varnish my puzzles before cutting and the new cut surfaces after. I use a Q tip to get into the small spaces with a light coat. Thanks for your tip. Woodie |

| Evie - this is great. I have all these little bits - I'm going to start working with them more. Janette uses them for texturing too. We just need to think outside the box. Woodie - the varnish tip is supper too - Q tip - nice.
